After hitting the wall at the track three years ago, my Z is finally all back together and better than ever. I opted to build a steel widebody and swap the coilovers for air along the way, so it's a completely different car now and I'm still getting used to it. But I didn't plan to road track it again so wanted to make something more suited to shows and maybe some 1/4 mile drags. I wanted vibe "OEM+" where it looked clean and only shows its custom-ness when you look closer, and I'm so happy with the balance we were able to strike on that. My fabrication partner (Godspeed Fabrication in Kent, WA), paint and body partner (Epitome Auto Design in Puyallup, WA), and upholstery and interior fabricator (NW Crafted in Everett, WA) deserve some huge props and thanks for their work on this build. So many challenges along the way, from trying to source parts during the pandalarium to Accuair going bankrupt in the middle of my air install to solving weird custom problems along the way. A lot of little 3D-printed bits to make things work (including a big project to retrofit Morimoto D2S projectors into the headlight housings). I've learned so much on this build, I'm going to have to write a book. Also thanks to everyone here that sold me parts out of your inventory! Huge props also to Travis Gallatin (@gallatin_images) for these amazing photos.
